CJI Surya Kant: Will ask Greater Noida magistrate to explain notice to student over Jantar Mantar protest

The Supreme Court questioned a notice issued to a student for attending a protest. Chief Justice Surya Kant stated no penal action would be taken against students. The court will seek an explanation from the executive magistrate. This notice was issued under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
