Bengaluru civic bodies to clean vacant plots, recover costs from owners through property tax

Bengalurus five city corporations will launch a citywide drive from Thursday to clean neglected vacant plots after low compliance from owners. Owners who fail to clean their plots will be served notices, with civic bodies carrying out the work and adding the cost to annual property taxes.
