Bengaluru BBA student works as app-based bike taxi driver for 3 months, shares what he earned and learned about gig economy

A Bengaluru BBA student spent three months working as a Rapido captain during his college vacation to understand the gig economy from a worker's perspective. He said he earned up to Rs 1,200 on a good day and turned to food deliveries during slow periods. His earnings reached Rs 16,660 in June, while the experience exposed him to fuel costs, waiting time and platform pressures.
