Kenyan President William Ruto has ordered Tata Chemicals to stop its operations in Kenya. The President stated the company's presence failed to deliver sufficient benefits to the nation. He announced two new companies will take over the existing operations. Ruto criticized the company for a century-long contract without local factory development. New firms will establish glass and chemical manufacturing facilities in Kajiado.
