Union Home Minister Amit Shah: BCCI president Mithun Manhas on Monday praised Indias differently-abled cricketers for their inspiring campaign in the United Kingdom, describing the teams journey as a reflection of resilience, determination and an unwavering passion for the sport after meeting the players. Manhas met the Indian Mixed Disability Mens Cricket Team in the national capital alongside Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia. The interaction followed Indias successful seven-match India-England Mens Mixed Disability T20I Series 2026, which the visitors won 4-3. The BCCI president said the meeting also offered an opportunity to hear directly from the players about their experiences during the tour and to witness their commitment to the game. England levelled the series on August 12 with a two-run win while chasing Indias 117-run total. India responded decisively in the next two matches, winning by 54 runs on August 15 and 18 runs on August 16.
