DDCA Unveils Enhanced LED Perimeter Displays At Arun Jaitley Stadium During India-Afghanistan T20I

The Arun Jaitley Stadium: The Arun Jaitley Stadium received a visual makeover ahead of the India vs Afghanistan series as the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) introduced enhanced LED perimeter displays for the T20I series between the two sides, describing the initiative as part of an effort to offer spectators and viewers a more modern and immersive match-day experience. The initiative, conceptualised under the leadership of the DDCA President, features upgraded LED perimeter displays designed to create a more uniform and visually striking presentation around the stadium. The association termed the changes a visible transformation and a proud DDCA initiative. The development came as the stadium hosted the second game of the three-match series, with India winning the toss and opting to bowl first. The hosts made one change to their XI, bringing in Ravi Bishnoi for the injured Varun Chakaravarthy, while Afghanistan retained the same side that featured in the opening T20I. India entered the contest looking to wrap up the series after their commanding performance in the first game. Afghanistan, meanwhile, were seeking a stronger response after being beaten comprehensively in the opener. The first T20I had seen Afghanistan recover from an early batting collapse through Azmatullah Omarzai and Mohammad Nabi, who added 83 runs, but their eventual 156-run total was comfortably overhauled by India. Abhishek Sharmas blistering 82 off 32 balls set up the chase, while Indias bowling attack kept Afghanistan under sustained pressure.
