1st T20I: Synergy In Bowling Attack Key To Indias Win Over Afghanistan, Says Shreyas Iyer

Arun Jaitley Stadium: India skipper Shreyas Iyer lauded his bowling unit's collective effort for setting up a clinical seven-wicket victory over Afghanistan in the first T20I here at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. He also highlighted the immediate impact made by returning fast-bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah. India restricted Afghanistan to 156/8 before chasing down the target with 38 balls to spare. On the other hand, Afghanistan captain Ibrahim Zadran conceded that his side fell well short of a par score after losing wickets in clusters early in the innings. We didnt get the result we wanted. I would say we had three good starts, then we didnt contribute well.
