Yvon Chouinard attended 2017 Chile land donation signing; a year later, the deal added 10 million acres to national parklands

Yvon Chouinard joined a significant conservation effort in Chile which led to the creation of new national parks. In March 2017, an agreement between Chilean President Michelle Bachelet and Tompkins Conservation facilitated this initiative. The collaboration resulted in the addition of over ten million acres of land to national parks across Chile.
