SBI share price climbs 4% after Q1 profit jumps 10% YoY, beats estimates

SBI shares rose sharply on Friday after the lender reported a 10% year-on-year rise in Q1 FY27 standalone profit to Rs 21,121 crore, beating Street estimates. Net interest income rose 15% to Rs 46,992 crore, while total business crossed Rs 110 trillion. The stock remains 9% below its 52-week high.
