Jaishankar tells Ukraine attacks on Indian seafarers are unacceptable

India unequivocally condemned attacks on commercial shipping and Indian seafarers in the Black Sea. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar conveyed this stance to his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha. The conversation followed the killing of an Indian seafarer in a recent Black Sea vessel attack. Ukraine urged India to play an active role in ending the ongoing conflict with Russia. Both nations agreed to maintain close communication on these critical matters.
