Glasgow Commonwealth Games ends as flag and baton handed to next host India

Glasgow hosted the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. India received the flag and baton for the 2030 Centenary Games. Ahmedabad will host the prestigious sporting event in Gujarat. India achieved a strong fourth position with 39 medals at the 2026 Games. This marks India's second time hosting the Commonwealth Games.
