Bengal CM suspends cop after custodial death of TMC worker

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari suspended an investigating officer and transferred an inspector. He visited the family of a Trinamool worker who died in custody. The Chief Minister ordered a magisterial inquiry into the custodial death. He provided compensation and a job to the deceased worker's wife. Adhikari admitted to police negligence while awaiting post-mortem results.
