8 kg gold worth over Rs 11 crore seized at Kerala airports in one week

Customs officials in Kerala seized eight kilograms of gold worth over eleven crore rupees during recent enforcement actions. Last week's coordinated operations resulted in the indictment of fourteen individuals, leading to the arrest of nine, including six from Kerala and three from Tamil Nadu. The smugglers have resorted to using intricate techniques, like body cavities and paste, to hide their illegal goods.
