7-month-old baby was trapped in a burning Stockton, California apartment in 2018, then 8-month-old pit bull Sasha alerted her mother and dragged her to safety

A pit bull named Sasha alerted her family to a house fire. The quick-thinking dog then dragged a baby to safety by her diaper. Flames engulfed the apartment building, destroying most of the four-plex. Firefighters arrived and managed to save a portion of the structure. The family hopes this story changes negative perceptions of pit bulls.
