1.2 crore names may be deleted in SIR: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated that approximately 1.2 crore names are expected to be removed from voter lists in Bengal. She expressed concern over the deletions, particularly those under the Special Intensive Revision. Banerjee inaugurated projects in her Bhabanipur constituency. The final voter rolls are scheduled for publication by the Election Commission of India on February 28.
