Satya Niketan building collapse not ordinary mishap: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court classified the collapse of the hostel building as a grave incident, resulting in the unfortunate deaths of seven individuals, including students. The court expressed sorrow over the dashed aspirations of students hailing from smaller towns. While authorities are enacting measures, the ongoing shortage of hostels continues to be a significant concern. A public interest litigation requesting an independent investigation and compensation is currently under consideration.
