HR&CE to route temple tenders through Tamil Nadu govt e-procurement portal

All temples under HR&CE will now use the e-procurement portal for tenders. Standardized tender documents in Tamil and English will be used across all temples. Bidders can revise quotes below the base price, with contracts awarded to the lowest bidder. Revenue-generating temple auction rights will be granted for a two-year period. New norms aim to ensure transparency and encourage greater competition among bidders.
