Infosys' nearly 1 lakh employees to move into specialist roles as AI reshapes tech industry

Infosys plans to move up to one-third of its workforce into specialised roles and build a 6,000-member team of frontier engineers as AI reshapes the IT industry. The move comes as Indian IT firms face pressure on hiring, headcount-based pricing and traditional business models.
