How India is investing in mutual funds: Longer holding periods, rising equity exposure and changing investor behaviour

Indian mutual fund investors are holding their investments longer, while women and younger investors are taking greater equity exposure. AMFI-Crisil data also shows regular-plan investors have longer holding periods, even as the industry's allocation shifts from debt towards equity.
