With elderly population set to double by 2050, govt looks to step up healthcare, caregiving services

Indias rapidly growing elderly population is creating both a demographic challenge and an economic opportunity, with the government expanding healthcare, care homes and caregiver services. Officials said the senior population could double over the next two decades, while Indias organised senior living market could reach $10.1 billion by 2030.
