'Wanted to upgrade the colour': India's ace boxer Lovlina Borgohain on winning Asian Games gold

Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain returned to New Delhi on Sunday after winning gold in the women's 75kg category at the Asian Games 2026. Borgohain defeated China's Bao Ziyi 5-0 in the final to claim India's first-ever Asian Games gold in the category. The medal was especially meaningful as it came on her birthday and improved on her previous silver.
