Tom Cruise delivers his worst opening weekend in two decades as 'Digger' garners $8m at domestic box office

Tom Cruise's latest film Digger has grossed only $20 million globally, marking a significant box office letdown. The film, directed by Alejandro G Irritu, has largely received poor reviews from critics. Digger had substantial production expenses, estimated at $150 million and additional marketing costs of $100 million. Warner Bros has financially struggled this year, failing to release a single film surpassing $100 million mark in the US.
