Sugar stocks rallied up to 7% as global sugar prices climbed to multi-month highs, with raw sugar touching 16.6 cents per pound and white sugar hitting a 15-month peak. Domestic prices have surged nearly 10% in a month to around Rs 5,000-5,090 per quintal in Mumbai. Deficient rainfall and expectations of strong festival demand are further supporting the bullish outlook for sugar companies.
