Sebi eases FPI onboarding by allowing digitally signed Power of Attorney

This change eliminates the requirement for notarization and consularization, enhancing the ease of doing business for overseas investors. As part of its commitment to digital transformation, Sebi aims to simplify investor processes, with these new regulations set to take effect on August 20, 2026.
