Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders to invest Rs 15,000 crore in Andhra shipyard

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders will invest Rs 15,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh over seven years. A new greenfield shipyard will be developed at Dugarajapatnam, creating many jobs. This project is part of Andhra Pradesh's proposed shipbuilding and port cluster. The state's report estimates the shipbuilding yard at Rs 29,254 crore. The shipbuilding cluster is being developed under the central government's scheme.
