JDU to meet Amit Shah on UCC; Chirag Paswan seeks stakeholder views

Janata Dal (United) leaders will soon meet Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the Uniform Civil Code. The party previously suggested wider consultation and cautioned against rushing UCC implementation. Other allies like LJP (Ram Vilas) and TDP also demand extensive discussions with stakeholders. Several NDA-ruled states are actively pursuing UCC implementation through state-level bills. The BJP is approaching UCC implementation state-wise due to diverse social structures.
