Hindustan Zinc shares fall 3% on reports of fresh government stake sale via OFS

Hindustan Zinc shares dropped on Tuesday after expectations of a fresh government stake sale through an OFS resurfaced following the Hindustan Copper stake sale. The government is reportedly considering selling around 1.5% of Hindustan Zinc, which could raise Rs 3,500-4,000 crore. The stock has declined nearly 3% in 2026.
