Gujarat tables Rs 4.08 lakh cr Budget, 10.2% higher compared to last year

Gujarat's Finance Minister Kanu Desai unveiled a 4,08,053 crore budget for 2026-27. The plan prioritizes developing six regions as growth hubs. Significant funds are allocated for sports infrastructure to prepare Ahmedabad for the 2030 Commonwealth Games and the 2036 Olympics. The budget also aims to boost exports and strengthen the textile industry.
