Global Market: Yuan heads for seventh straight quarterly gains as exporters boost dollar sales

Chinas yuan strengthened against the dollar, heading for its seventh straight quarterly gain, supported by exporter dollar selling, stronger factory activity and a weaker U.S. currency. The yuan has gained 4.3% this year. Beijings latest measures to support infrastructure, technology and housing also improved investor sentiment and economic recovery expectations.
