Global Market: South Korean shares rebound as chip stocks track Wall Street gains

South Korean shares rebounded on Thursday, with the KOSPI rising 1.38% as chipmakers tracked gains in their US peers and optimism over AI demand lifted technology stocks. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix advanced, and POSCO Holdings also gained, although foreign investors remained net sellers.
