Global Market: Four US firms commit $2 billion investment in South Korea

Four U.S. companies have committed $2 billion in South Korea across semiconductors, advanced materials and renewable energy. Investments include semiconductor gases, chip equipment, advanced glass and a 3.2-GW offshore wind project. The commitments strengthen South Koreas efforts to attract foreign investment and deepen economic cooperation with the United States.
