Foreigners offered Rs 16 lakh to fight for Russia against Ukraine: Report

Russias Irkutsk region has raised the maximum incentive for recruiting foreign nationals or stateless people into its military to 1.5 million rubles, around Rs 16 lakh, according to reports. The payment is reportedly the highest offered by a Russian region for such recruitment. Other regions have also increased incentives as Moscow continues seeking additional manpower for the Ukraine war.
