Ashis Banerjee, former Bengal Dy Speaker, found hanging at TMC office

Former TMC MLA Ashis Banerjee was found hanging at a party office. Police sources reported the discovery on Sunday morning in Birbhum district. A purported suicide note was also recovered from the party office. The former legislator's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Officials are currently investigating the exact circumstances leading to his death.
