James Van Der Beeks heartfelt final vow renewal with his wife before his demise

Actor James Van Der Beek renewed his wedding vows with wife Kimberly Van Der Beek just days before his death. The couple held a bedside ceremony surrounded by family and friends. James Van Der Beek had been battling stage 3 colorectal cancer. He passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. The couple married in 2010 and had six children.
