France submits proposal for 114 Rafale fighter jet deal with India, offers large-scale local manufacturing

France submitted its technical and commercial proposal for 114 Rafale fighter jets. Ninety-four aircraft will be manufactured in India with domestic industry partners. This acquisition aims to bolster the Indian Air Force's declining squadron strength. The deal is expected to generate significant business opportunities for Indian companies. India has already contracted 62 Rafale aircraft for its Air Force and Navy.
