A 66-year-old woman found herself a victim of an elaborate cyber scam, losing twelve lakh rupees to criminals who utilized an AI-generated video of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. They lured her with promises of financial support, soliciting fees and taxes. In desperation, she borrowed money and pawned her jewelry, only to realize she had been swindled when no aid arrived.
