Content Writers / Content Creators & Curators:

We are seeking 1-3 Content Writers / Content Creators & Curators for our recently launched INDIA-CENTRIC website’s FUSION section. Content topics of the Fusion section include:

  1. All content India-centric. Current topics: HOT FROM THE OVEN; PHOTOS; INCREDIBLE INDIA; SOCIAL BUZZ AND OPINION POLLS. All these you can see on the right side of the main site at WerIndia.com

  2. Content topics can be from anywhere: current events, politics, business, startups, jugaad, entertainment, history, art, crafts & culture, our way of life, technology, blogs, TV, books, social media, about people (everyday and famous people), photos, videos, quotes, and so on. GOAL is to provide YOUR OWN context / slant to stories you select, along with a headline and short summary, etc., and as appropriate link to the sources.
  3. Review and select User submissions to highlight, and review comments if any.
  4. Can support you with Graphics Designer. You will become an integral part of our young team and we will help you succeed.
  5. CAN EXPERIMENT WITH INNOVATION & CREATIVITY.

Job Requirements:

  1. Key qualities: Interest, Enthusiasm, and a Creative mind who is open to try different things and willing to experiment, Self-driven & be Innovative.
  2. A news junkie, knowledge of current affairs or one who is interested in many topics with and about India. You can do your own research on the Fusion topics and your name will appear too.
  3. Past experience fine but NOT necessary. Should have writing proficiency. One who can work independently. Your ideas to improve our website is appreciated also. Individuals could be Professionals of all experience levels, Retired people, stay at Home Parents, Students, Young Graduates - those with lot of passion.
  4. Content can be in English AND other Indian Languages.
  5. Ensure consistency & accuracy of information.
  6. At least 2 hours per day (flexible work time) or more. Develop content in several categories on a regular basis, would need to balance quality with quantity.
  7. Compensation: would agree to a weekly or monthly rate.
