I think audiences will connect with FANAA because beneath the horror and suspense, there is a strong emotional layer to the story. Arian Romals music complements the visual narrative, bringing together haunting melodies, suspense and darker imagery. Chahatt Khanna says she could consider The Traitors While Chahatt has not watched the recent season of The Traitors India in full, she said she has seen some episodes and heard stories about the show from contestant Sahil. I haven't seen it. I haven't seen the first. I haven't seen this. I have seen some episodes. I have seen Sahil (Salathia). He is very funny, she said. The actress explained that her busy schedule leaves her with little time for television and reality shows. I don't get time to watch TV. Hardly, I get time. Chahatt said she is selective about how she spends her free time. If I will watch it anytime, I like to watch cinema. If I want to spend my time. If I want to spend my precious time, I like to watch what I like. Not just because it is new. I don't follow trends. She added, I want to invest my time where it is meaningful for me. So, I am very, very confused when it comes to investing time. You ask me money, I will give. You ask me time, I can't. Chahatt Khanna open to taking her business to Shark Tank India Chahatt also revealed that she has considered taking her business to Shark Tank India. While she has not committed to a timeline, the actress said it could happen this year or next year. Sometimes, I watch some episodes of Shark Tank, she said when asked if she would consider taking her business to the show. Asked about her plans, Chahatt said, Yes, we can. Maybe this year or next year we can plan to do that. The actress, however, reiterated that her limited free time makes it difficult to keep up with reality television. She said that when she gets time, she would rather rest, scroll through her phone or watch something she finds meaningful. Before she turned a bitch, everyone liked her. Then when she turned into a bitch, people used to stop her in the mall and ask her why she is after her sister's life and all, Chahatt recalled. She further revealed that some viewers would physically stop her to question the characters actions. Aunties used to hold me tight and scold me, What do you want? Why are you after your sister's life? It was difficult for me to come out. Chahatt also spoke about what she learned while working on the show, crediting her co-stars Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. The spontaneity I learnt from Ram as an actor, you know, he is a very spontaneous actor. I learnt method acting from Sakshi. So, I think I learnt a very good mix from both sides. There was no casting process as such because it's been a while I'm in the industry so I got a call and then I initially refused for this because I was not really sure about the project but then when I read the character, it was very relevant, she said. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Ashi explained that the filmmakers have introduced small elements through which characters from one story appear in another. According to the producer, these crossovers have been designed to blend naturally into the individual narratives rather than being presented as obvious connections. I don't want to really say much. I really hope everybody watches it, but we've tried to have these small little elements which you will notice in the four stories of our characters travelling a little bit in each other's stories very absolutely smoothly. You may miss it if you miss it by a minute or you may not, she said. Ashi added that the team would like to develop this idea further if they get the opportunity to make a fourth instalment. However, she acknowledged that creating a more interconnected anthology would require considerable coordination between the filmmakers. So, we've tried to do that, and hopefully if we get an opportunity to make the fourth one, we'll have it more intertwined with each other. It takes a lot because then all four directors have to write and shoot at the same time. Yeah. But we'll try. We'll try. We have to take it to the next level, she added. Ashi Dua on how Lust Stories changed perceptions around female desire During the conversation, Ashi also reflected on how the perception of the Lust Stories franchise has changed since the first instalment arrived in 2018. She recalled that casting the original film was not as straightforward as it may appear today, despite having filmmakers such as Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee attached to the project. According to Ashi, actors gradually became more comfortable with the franchise after understanding that its intention was not simply to provoke audiences or objectify women. Instead, the stories aimed to explore female desire and give the characters perspectives and motivations beyond their sexuality. I think when people and actors realize that we are what we are, we are not just doing this to titillate anybody. Everybody's presented really well. Every character has something that they're trying to say. It's not just putting women out there or objectifying them. That's really not what the filmmakers, us, or what the film is about. It's about speaking about the female desire which we've not been able to speak about for so many years, Ashi said. She recalled that casting the first Lust Stories was particularly challenging, even with its high-profile directors. In the first one it was very hard to cast, whether you believe it or not. I can imagine even though we had Zoya and Karan and Anurag and Dibakar, but it was hard to cast even that, she said. Ashi believes the response to the first instalment helped change the way actors viewed the project. She explained that performers became more comfortable with the material after seeing how the stories and characters were presented on screen. So I think after they saw that and they realized that this is doing things very differently is when now actors are more comfortable of course and also the comfort is between the director and the actor also. If the actor wants to work with that particular director and then the story where they feel like okay, we are comfortable doing this and we know we'll be shown in the right way is when they do it, she added. Lust Stories 3 continues the anthology format The third instalment follows the anthology format established by the first two editions, bringing together four filmmakers and separate stories that explore different dimensions of desire and relationships. The first Lust Stories, released in 2018, was directed by Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar. The film explored themes including female sexual pleasure, marital dissatisfaction and social expectations, and was nominated for an International Emmy Award. Lust Stories 2, released in 2023, was directed by Sujoy Ghosh, R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma and Amit Ravindernath Sharma. Amid the ongoing speculation, actor Anupam Kher has now shared his thoughts on Govinda and advised him to ensure that his personal life and habits do not overshadow his professional journey. Anupam Kher advises Govinda In an interview with Faridoon Shahryar, Anupam Kher spoke about his equation with Govinda and praised his abilities as an actor. He said, I am very fond of Govinda. I think he is one of the finest actors that I have worked with. I have done 10-12 films with him. Improvisation, acting, dance no one can compete with him. But you should not allow your personal life or your habits to overshadow your entire life. Anupam also addressed the attention surrounding Govindas personal life and the rumours involving Komal. However, he clarified that he did not want to pass judgment on the actor. He said, I am no one to pass a judgment on him. He knows his life better, and he can deal with it. I called him once and he said he will call me back. I wanted to tell him, this too shall pass. The veteran actor further said that everyone goes through difficult phases in life. According to him, Govinda has gotten bogged down by his surroundings, by his life, but has not given up. Anupam added, I dont think the problem is that he doesnt know how to market himself.
