Roles & Responsibilities in 2 parts: Direct Sales (80%) and Programmatic Sales (20%)

Direct Ad Sales:

  1. Introduce us to brands, agencies, Ad networks in India and globally, clients, commission reps and work closely with our digital marketing and technical teams to ensure maximum long-term client satisfaction.
  2. Prospect, pitch new business and generate sales from advertising agencies and clients. Mid to longer term - develop relationships at all levels from Head of Marketing, Brand Managers to Agency Buyers, and to Heads (and/or heads of public relations) of Central and State Governments organizations and Educational institutions. Doing telephone and in-person cold calling. Travel as needed to visit prospects, clients and suitable trade shows.
  3. Meet exceed sales targets and other goals.
  4. Provide feedback as received from current and future customers.
  5. Introduce and pursue creative sponsorship opportunities.
  6. Manage client campaign reporting.
  7. In future, could manage Advertising Sales team.

Programmatic Ad Sales:

  1. Pursue advertising business with Ad Networks (such as Google Adsense, Yahoo, Bing, AOL) and several Indian ones.
  2. Bring or build knowledge how to use Google Adsense, Google's Doubleclick for Publishers - Small business; familiar with CPC / CPM / Other Advertising networks; optimize Advertising, review AD Networks - all to maximize Sales.


  1. 2- to 7 years (senior or junior) of Internet / Digital Advertising Sales experience.
  2. Dynamic, entrepreneurial, results oriented Digital / Internet Ad Sales person.
  3. Experience at a leading publisher or social media platform a plus. Passionate about online and social media advertising and new media. Demonstrable knowledge of the online advertising industry.
  4. Identify and understand trends and social Ad products (e.g. Facebook sponsored stories, promoted tweets) in social media; analyse data and use it.
  5. Strong network of Advertiser relationships a plus.
  6. Develop suitable sales presentations and materials, writing skills.
  7. Strong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an agency or client. Initially the deals would be simple, but as the client relationships grow - you will negotiate, structure and close more complex longer-term deals.
  8. Ability to work in a fast paced company and industry.
  9. Suitable educational experience.
