In these unprecedented Covid-19 times, the likes of which an entire generation has not seen or experienced in their lifetime, religions and nationalities becoming blurred, humanity becomes one to fight, to survive and without a vaccine or a medicine yet makes it that much more challenging.
With social distancing being one of the biggest weapon in this fight for survival, it is extremely distressing to hear situations of mistreatment of the people fighting at the forefront, doctors and other medical staff who are putting themselves and their families at risk, policeman roaming around the streets even in coronavirus lockdown to maintain discipline have to be appreciated beyond compare but instead incidents of doctors being requested to leave housing apartments, policeman being harassed on the streets are extremely thought provoking.
We need to put the community ahead of the urge of individual survival to go through this successfully and the first way to start this is by treating these warriors at the forefront with respect and support. They are after all the new age warriors without swords and shields fighting an invisible enemy!
Let us come together in these testing circumstances to show our appreciation and thankfulness to these corona warriors.
