Affordable Online BBA Programmes in India: Fee Up to ₹1.5 Lakh

Online BBA Programmes

A three-year online BBA does not have to cost a fortune. Several universities publish total fees of roughly ₹1.3 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh, and some offer discounts or instalment plans that change what you actually pay. This article looks at five programmes in that range, using the fees and payment options each university shows on its own website or blog.

A few notes on how to read the list. The programmes are not ranked by price alone, and fees can change between intakes, so treat every figure as the amount published at the time of writing and confirm it with the admissions team. The list is also not exhaustive. Public universities such as IGNOU publish much lower fees, so if budget is your only filter, they are worth checking too.

1. JAIN Online (JAIN Deemed-to-be University)

For students who want an affordable online BBA from a NAAC A++ accredited university, JAIN Online is a good place to start. JAIN is a Deemed-to-be University, and its online BBA is UGC entitled. It runs for three years and combines live and recorded classes.

The programme page lists ₹1,35,000 for the Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management electives, and ₹1,50,000 for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and for Digital Marketing. It states a 15 percent discount for one-time payment, and 0 percent interest when you pay through an education loan or EMI. On the listed fees, the discount would bring a one-time payment to about ₹1,14,750 and ₹1,27,500 respectively.

The page also lists several inclusions: access to 20,000+ LinkedIn Learning courses as part of the programme, semester-embedded skill enhancement courses at no additional cost, and a career readiness programme covering resume building, LinkedIn profile optimisation and interview preparation.

2. NMIMS Online

NMIMS publishes two fee points on its admission page. The full programme fee is ₹1,31,000 for the BBA with Marketing and Finance electives, and ₹1,45,000 for the BBA with Business Analytics electives in the second and third year.

On payment, the page mentions EMI of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months through credit cards of listed banks, and a loan facility for students without a credit card. If you plan to use card EMI, ask for the total payable, since the interest terms depend on your bank.

3. DY Patil University Online (D Y Patil Deemed to be University)

DY Patil’s own blog gives ₹1,30,000 as the total fee for its three-year online BBA. It describes the university as UGC entitled, AICTE approved and NAAC A++ accredited.

The same blog mentions eight specializations, including Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics and Supply Chain, and Retail Operations, plus career support through resume building, mock interviews and LinkedIn reviews. Other websites quote different figures for this programme, so rely on the university’s own admissions team for the current fee.

4. Amrita Online (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham)

Amrita Online states a NAAC A++ accreditation. Its published pages show slightly different numbers for the general BBA: ₹1,35,000 in one article and ₹1,41,000 in its programme listing, so confirm which one applies to your intake.

Amrita lists zero-cost EMI starting at ₹4,167 a month, an exam fee of ₹2,500 per semester and an application fee of ₹500. Its specialised BBAs, including Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and Sales, and Banking and FinTech, are listed at ₹1,65,000, which is above the range of this article.

5. Chandigarh University Online

Chandigarh University Online publishes fees starting from ₹1,31,250 after an early bird scholarship, payable semester-wise. It lists NAAC A+ accreditation and a three-year duration, with a dual specialization option from 15 areas. It also states that admission does not involve an entrance exam.

Because the starting fee depends on a scholarship, ask what the fee is for your intake without it, and how long the early bird offer lasts.

Costs to Check Beyond the Headline Fee

The total on a programme page is only part of the picture. A few other charges can change your final cost.

Exam fees are one example. Amrita, for instance, lists ₹2,500 per semester separately, so a three-year programme adds up over six semesters. Application or admission processing fees are usually small, but they vary. Scholarships and one-time payment discounts can lower the fee, while a card EMI may add interest. Always ask what the fee includes and what is billed separately.

How to Compare These Programmes Properly

Start with the total amount you will pay from the first instalment to the last, not the monthly figure. A low monthly amount spread over a long period can cost more than a larger one-time payment with a discount.

Next, check accreditation yourself. Confirm that the university is entitled by the UGC to offer the programme online, and read its NAAC grade on NAAC’s own website. Different websites sometimes report different grades or fees for the same university, as the figures above show, so the university’s own page and the official regulators are the sources to trust.

Then compare what is included: live classes, recorded lectures, career support, learning libraries and specializations. Finally, ask for fee details, discounts and refund terms in writing before you pay.

The Short Version

If you want an online BBA with a total fee up to ₹1.5 lakh, five programmes with published fees in this range are JAIN Online, NMIMS Online, DY Patil University Online, Amrita Online and Chandigarh University Online. Their fees, discounts and payment options differ, so compare the total payable, confirm accreditation on the UGC and NAAC websites, and get every figure confirmed in writing for the intake you ar
