Hague gives Pakistan more 'assurance' on hydel projects under IWT ambit

Pakistan has received further assurances from the Court of Arbitration regarding hydel power project designs on rivers under the Indus Water Treaty. The court's latest order expands its scope to cover all components of run-of-river projects. It also mandates that design references are compulsory during India's design phase.
