Coca-Cola tests paper-based bottle carriers in Europe that could cut 200 tons of plastic a year; when will it reach the US?

Coca-Cola HBC Austria is piloting a new packaging strategy, replacing plastic shrink wrap with a recyclable corrugated-paper handle for soft drink multipacks. This initiative, developed with DS Smith and Krones, aims to eliminate approximately 200 tonnes of plastic annually. The DS Smith Lift Up solution offers a sustainable and user-friendly alternative for consumers.
