Tamil Nadu assembly speaker says no disqualification action against 21 rebel AIADMK MLAs who supported TVK in trust vote

Speaker J.C.D. Prabhakar announced that 21 rebel AIADMK MLAs will not face disqualification for voting against the party whip. This decision follows a letter from AIADMK general secretary Palaniswami accepting their apologies. The remaining four MLAs had already resigned and joined the TVK government.
