MCD bypoll turns into high-stakes battle for BJP, AAP and Congress

The November 30 MCD bypoll has become important for Delhis three main parties as the results could shift the balance of power in the civic body. The BJP, which holds 115 of 250 seats, is aiming to cross the majority mark of 125. AAP, down to 99 councillors, is looking to regain lost ground, while Congress, with eight members, is trying to stay relevant.
