Goa fire tragedy: Flagged illegalities about nightclub for years, says landowner

Landowner Pradeep Ghadi Amonkar claims he warned of illegalities at Birch by Romeo Lane for two decades. A fire at the North Goa nightclub killed 25 people. Amonkar states he purchased the land in 1994 and faced legal battles as Surinder Kumar Khosla allegedly built on it without payment. A demolition notice was issued but stayed.
