Scientists say spelling mistakes could be the earliest signs of dementia

Making more spelling mistakes lately may be more than fatigue or distraction. Research in early stages of dementia, especially Alzheimers disease and semantic memory disorders, shows that writing and spelling errors can surface before obvious memory loss.
