Slimmer price tag helps Wegovy sales gain weight
Novo Nordisk has slashed Wegovy prices in India by nearly 40 percent. This move has dramatically increased sales volume by 70 percent in November. The drug's market share also rose to 14 percent. This price reduction aims to compete with rival Mounjaro. Another Novo Nordisk drug, Ozempic, is expected to launch soon, potentially further impacting prices.
