RBI likely to raise forecast for growth, lower it for inflation this MPC

Market watchers anticipate the Reserve Bank of India will adjust its economic forecasts this Friday. Expectations are for a higher growth projection and a lower inflation estimate for the fiscal year 2026. This comes after stronger than anticipated GDP figures and moderating inflation. Analysts foresee a significant drop in inflation projections. Growth forecasts are also expected to be revised upwards.
