Scarpetta: Nicole Kidman, Jamie Lee Curtis to star as sisters

Jamie Lee Curtis and Nicole Kidman will star as estranged sisters in a new crime thriller adapting Patricia Cornwell's novels. Kidman plays Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a medical examiner investigating a serial killer while confronting a past case and her fractured relationship with her sister, Dorothy. The eight-episode series will stream on Amazon Prime Video on March 11, 2026.
